Wroxham Area Wroxham is the heart of the Norfolk Broads. It is very busy in the summer months, but still offers some excellent areas to paddle in both high and low season. The open water of Wroxham Broad is excellent for beginners with plenty of space to practice, and the boat launching point right by the car park.

Both kayaking and SUP are quite easy for a beginner to pick up. However, we still think the advantage goes to SUP. While a kayak is easy to learn, it still requires a degree of skill to pick up. This is primarily due to the difficulty of getting in and out, especially when it comes to how to react if the kayak flips.

Kayaking Hickling Broad: The Largest and Most Diverse Hickling Broad is the largest of the Norfolk Broads and boasts a fantastic array of wildlife and unique habitats. Paddle through the tranquil waters, discovering hidden creeks and secluded spots.

Enjoy canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboards at our Harpers Ferry Campground Riverside Location. You simply come to our office to check in and then we shuttle you down to the river. Once you get there you can choose which activity you would like to do (based on availability).
